Comparison between heat transfer and personalized printable heat transfer vinyl

Jun 17, 2025

Offset heat transfer and digital inkjet printing are two different types of thermal transfer. Offset heat transfer is in the form of printing, while digital inkjet printing can be directly heat-transferred by printing. Digital inkjet printing is divided into heat transfer sublimation and heat transfer color inkjet film. This time, the editor will share with you the comparison between offset heat transfer and digital inkjet printing.

Color inkjet film is also known as printable HTV:

It uses high-quality TPU elastic material, has a soft feel, excellent elasticity, strong ink absorption, high color reproduction, and uses PET high-temperature resistant release substrate. It will not deform, debond, or fade after high-temperature hot stamping. It is washable and can be used for printing and engraving and cutting of color patterns. It is easy to engrave, cut, and discharge waste. The entire hot stamping process of color inkjet film is as follows: first design the pattern on the computer, then put the heat transfer vinyl on the inkjet engraving machine to spray the pattern, then peel off the excess part, composite positioning film, and then use the heat press machine to hot stamp the pattern, peel off the PET film, and finally complete the hot stamping.

The heat transfer pattern has fine particles, bright colors, good elasticity, stretch resistance, good washing effect, strong adaptability, and has passed SGS and OEKO-TEX100 certification. The care label heat transfer uses imported high-temperature resistant polyurethane materials, thick colors, and screen-printed special colors to ensure that it will not deform after high-temperature heat transfer. The process of heat transfer pattern formation is to print the pattern on the heat transfer paper (commonly known as heat transfer paper) through screen printing, cover the heat transfer paper on the substrate, and heat the pattern on the clothes through the heat transfer machine.
